It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

I have been pretty lazy this weekend but I managed to be somewhat productive and went Christmas shopping with my mom. I am almost finished buying my Christmas presents...YAY! I only have two people left to buy for and of course they are the most difficult. I also managed to buy a little gift for myself at this cute little boutique called Apricot Lane. I posted a pic below of my little gift.

I absolutely love it! And it'll be great to wear to UK games!

I usually love to shop but it was horrible trying to this weekend! It was crazy! People were everywhere and I have to say I was so ready to get out of the mall. After shopping, mom and I went to dinner. We went to Red Lobster, since it was right outside of the mall and I had my most embarrassing experience yet....no joke! So, I ask the waitress where the restroom was and she told me "around the corner and it's the door on the right". I go and I'm in the restroom and all the sudden someone walks in and clears their throat....but it doesn't sound like a woman. They then proceed to use the restroom on the right of me but there was no stall there when I walked in. I look on the floor and the feet are facing the wrong way....it was a man! I went into the MEN'S restroom!!!!! I didn't pay attention to the sign on the door and didn't notice the urinal either! I plan to wait and leave after he does.... So, I hear the door open and close and then I proceed to leave. Well crap! Someone came in while he was going out and was now using the urinal. I jetted out of there and just my luck the lobby was full of people! I quickly made my way to the women's to wash my hands and pull myself together.

On another note, there is a winter wonderland outside today. I'm not a big fan of snow but I have to admit it is beautiful. They have already cancelled school for tomorrow so it will be a slow day at work... For those of you that don't know, I go in to the school and counsel elementary school children. We have our Christmas party at Radcliff tomorrow and I'm looking forward to spending time with my co-workers. This week is full of Christmas parties.... I have a total of three this week....the one tomorrow and two Wednesday, one at Elizabethtown during the day and the annual BFF Christmas party Wednesday night! I can't wait to celebrate with everyone and I'll post more about those parties later this week. I hope everyone stays toasty this evening!

I Can't Believe I'm Blogging...

To be completely honest I've always thought that people who blog have entirely too much free time (sorry if this offends anyone)....until recently. One of my bffs (Lauren), began blogging and has inspired me to create my own. It was so much fun reading her posts and she introduced me to other blogs that I just can't get enough of. This blog will be a little sneak peak into my daily life. Sooooo, I guess I'll start off with a little info about myself. I'm 27 years old and live in a small town in South Central Kentucky. I graduated from the Univeristy of Kentucky in 2006 and then went on and completed my Master's at Lindsey Wilson College. I counsel children and absolutely LOVE my job! In my free time I love hanging out with my wonderful friends and family. Y'all should also know that I'm a HUGE Kentucky basketball fan....it's definitely in my genes. This weekend I have absolutely no plans for a change and I'm soooooo happy I can just relax. I really need to finish Christmas shopping sometime over the weekend. Oh yeah! Another thing, I'm a shopaholic, seriously I'm not overexaggerating here it's a true story! I love shoes, purses, clothes, jewerly, books, and pretty much anything else you can think of I'm sure I like it. Well, enough about me for now.... Hope everyone has a great Saturday!
